Open Innovation Tech Challenge is a two-days bootcamp, hold on 4-5th October. Carbominer was chosen as an AgriTech startup among 20 other teams to participate in Open Innovation Tech Challenge.

How was it?

The event was in a hybrid format (both online and offline). There were 4 startup tracks: AgriTech, Renewable Energy, EdTech and HealthTech. Each track consisted of 5 startups, previously selected to the program.
During the program, startups listened to the lectures about business development and going to another markets. Besides that, one-to-one mentorship sessions with the qualified experts were organized.
On the second day, startups pitched their ideas to compete for the main prizes. Those prizes included:
  • a grant for the 1st place,
  • a voucher for the Web Summit for the 2nd place
  • and the AWS Amazon credits for the 3rd place winners.

The projects presented a very strong knowledge of their target markets and showed a confidence in their spheres. Carbominer won the first place in AgriTech track.
