This year, Carbominer was selected to participate in the four-month EIT FAN Acceleration program for agrifood startups and was invited to attend the annual invite-only EIT Food Venture Summit.
The EIT Food Accelerator Network (EIT FAN)
The EIT Food Accelerator Network Program (EIT FAN) is a four-month equity-free grant-funded program aiming to fast-track science and technology-based innovations that help solve global food system challenges.
The 2022 edition of the program was in a mixed online and offline format, combining live webinars and in-person workshops in Bilbao, Spain. The educational part included topics like pitching, fundraising, intellectual property and patent protection, finances and marketing.
The culmination of the program was in-person at Agrifood Demo Day in Madrid, Spain, featuring international VCs and angel investors on 26th of October.
EIT Food Venture Summit
The EIT Food Venture Summit is an annual event hosted by EIT Food, gathering the main stakeholders and actors from across the European agrifood innovation community for networking, inspiration, and matchmaking between corporates, startups & scaleups, investors, and experts in attendance.
The 2022 edition of the EIT Food Venture Summit was held in person, with attendance for all the valuable community members, and took place on 27th October 2022. All the participating companies were featured in an online booklet.
Our Founder & CEO Nick Oseyko attended EIT Venture Summit to meet with potential customers – greenhouse growers and vertical farmers, and to present Carbominer to agritech VCs.
The EIT Food is a pan-European organization that is working to build an innovative, resilient, and inclusive food system across Europe.
