The Climate Launchpad Boot Camp training took place on July 23-24, with Carbominer being one of the participants. In total, only 12 teams were selected for this stage.

Bootcamp is a two-day intensive training under the supervision of a mentor from Climate-KIC, the organizer of the competition. In the bootcamp teams learn to evaluate their ideas in terms of real business.

The secret to the success of any learning process is a bright mentor who not only shares his experience but also energizes the participants to create change. This year, Ron Bloemers, Climate-KIC mentor and founder of the business accelerator for cleantech startups Start-U-up (The Netherlands), became a mentor at the Kyiv Bootcamp.

How was it?

The two days spent in the bootcamp were very busy, with the Carbominer team learning a lot about self-presentation, pitching features and building a business model for a green startup.

Organisers asked the participants to leave feedback on the bootcamp. This is what Nick Oseyko, founder of Carbominer, said:

“Participation in the bootcamp exceeded our expectations. I want to thank the Greencubator team for the organization. I would like to recognize the participation of the extra-class mentor. All the teams will agree with me that Ron Bloomers’ involvement was a significant advantage this bootcamp had”.

What is the Climate Launchpad?
