Last week, Thought For Food held Demo Day and awarded TFF Challenge winners, green agrifood companies from all over the world. Carbominer received a Runner-Up cash prize of $7,500.
TFF Academy acceleration
Of more than 3000 applicants from 139 countries, 10 startups were selected for TFF Academy acceleration and mentorship. All these startups are working to solve the global challenges facing our food systems.
These teams took part in the TFF Academy, a 16-week personalized acceleration program. TFF Academy teaches startups storytelling, business model development, building partnerships, and how to make a positive impact at scale.

Thought for Food Demo Day
After the end of the program, Thought For Food hosted the Demo Day for the teams to present their climate and food tech solutions. Among the judges, there were representatives from Sequoia Capital, DSM, Invisible Foods, and Cargill.
TFF Challenge Prizes were $10k, $7,5k, and $5k, and the People’s Choice Award for $3k. Carbominer took second place and received a Runner-Up cash prize of $7,500.
