Among 90+ applications, 15 startups from Spain, Portugal, France, Sweden, Italy, Finland, and Ukraine were chosen to Cleantech Camp accelerator in 2021.
How was the acceleration like?
The program consisted of virtual training sessions given by experts from relevant fields and qualified lectors from ESADE business school. The workshops were on the topics of raising investment, creating a business plan, implementation of a marketing strategy and introducing various IP protection strategies. Projects could as well present an outline for the development of a pilot with accelerator partners: Enagás Emprende, CRH, and PRIO.
Besides that, Cleantech Camp offered a mentorship support to each startup. We feel very grateful to an amazing Maria José de la Maza Peiró, Professor of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ESADE, that was our mentor during this program.
The Final Event
The final event was on 16th September and took place in person at the Barcelona Activa facilities.
Carbominer got to top 6 startups and got the possibility to pitch on stage.
The first place winner Albedo was granted an award of 20,000 euros, and the second and third place winners SpectrumLab and AmnisPura got awards of 5,000 euros.
