Carbominer finished the EnergySpin accelerator, which took place from September to November 2019.
How was it?
Nick and Vika Oseyko, two out of three Carbominer team members, came to Vaasa, Finland to attend Pre-Acceleration Day on 4th September 2019. The part of the pitches took place in the morning. Carbominer was the second team to present, and we nailed it! Then we had several productive conversations with prospective investors, who voted for our idea among the others.
A few days later, we got the email that we had been chosen for the second stage – the acceleration program itself. Nick travelled to Vaasa several times during September-November to attend the accelerator program, learn from corporate mentors and to network.
After completing the EnergySpin program, we presented our tech to its corporate backers – Wärtsilä, a global leader in smart technologies and Vaasan Sähkö, a regional energy company. Conversations with them were positive and also provided us with several important insights about potential applications of our technology.
