At the United Nations Climate Conference in Madrid, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has identified clear tasks for saving the planet.

“We need to cut greenhouse emissions by 45% by 2030; reach carbon neutrality by 2050; and limit temperature rise to 1.5 rise by the end of the century [by 2100]” – said Guterres.

The two-week UN Climate Conference will be held in Madrid from 2 to 13 December. Representatives of about 200 countries of the world should take part in it. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called on the management of environmental polluters to ignore climate protection.
